My renewed interest in photography seemed to happen about the same time that I threw myself into studying foreign languages again, specifically languages with different alphabets. The visual connection between the two is something I feel is really important. This in-progress series, explores how the connection between memory and reality works; creating merged situations by using double exposures along with extended exposures. We very rarely have crystal-clear memories, they are often blurred or formed by piecing together seemingly random events.
